Olemukan died on December 17, 2022, at Mulago Cancer Institute after battling cancer of the liver for months while Bishop Okabe and his wife perished in a motor accident on Monday morning, December 19, 2022.
The land donated by the district is the first and only asset acquired by the institution since its inception in 1997. The cabinet hopes to use the land to erect office space and accommodation for Emorimor in Soroti.
