URN reported last month that vendors had rejected the stalls in the newly constructed market because they were too small to accommodate the vendors and their merchandise. The stalls did not also have a storage facility.
The vandalism was noticed on Monday by the police deployed at the market when they entered the apartment allotted to them only to find that glasses were smashed. Other facilitates that have been vandalized include the security lighting system and the flower garden.
