The ultimatum was issued by Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa, during a plenary sitting on Tuesday. It followed a concern raised by Muwada Nkunyingi, the Shadow Minister of Foreign Affairs and Kyandondo East Constituency Representative citing wasteful expenditure of public funds.
Orungo County MP Jeje Odongo has said that Government cannot release suspects being held in relation to the 2021 election, saying they cannot release them simply on requests.
