“Discovery Uganda Championships” is an initiative of Uganda’s Common Wealth double Gold medalist and the 15-kilometer record holder Jacob Kiplimo aimed at identifying talents, sports, and support.
The competitions that were supposed be held on Saturday January 11th at Tuban play grounds in Kapchorwa Municipality have been pushed forward at the same venue.

The 19-year old Chelimo qualified for the finals after finishing fourth in the first round of the competition posting a time which of 13 minutes and 39:07 seconds which is a few seconds below his personal best which stands 13:06:79.
