According to the agreement, Katosi town council that is housing the main treatment plant was supposed to directly benefit from water extension and connectivity together with the nearby sub-counties around the lakeshore such as Ntenjeru and Mpunge before it is handed over to NWSC as part of corporate social responsibility.
