Dr. Aceng said that the daily target of vaccination in Teso is 157, 200 people but all the nine districts and city vaccinated only 44,828 people on Monday. Kumi district registered the highest number of with 10,800 people followed by Bukedea, 9,245 and Katakwi 6,423.
Asuret Sub County registered 173 cases of COVID-19 between September 22 and October 1, 2021. This is almost a quarter of the cumulative cases recorded in the district comprising 12 sub-counties since March 2020.

The Hospital has been relying on vehicles for delivery of oxygen but the demand in hospital has recently overwhelmed the facility. The vehicles sometimes take two days to return with the oxygen.
