The Ministry with support from the World Bank through the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer Program (UgIFT) disbursed over 1.7 Billion Shillings to Luwero district and 1.03 billion Shillings to Nakaseke under the Micro-scale Irrigation Program.
The Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development released over 850 million shillings for the construction of Kikamulo Seed Secondary School in Nakaseke district. The last quarterly release for the school was in April this year.
Boniface Ssentongo a Board Member of Bamunanika Technical Institute says that the delays have been due to failure by Ministry of Education and Sports to pay the contractor in time to complete the work.
