Major General Dick Olum, the overall commander of Operation Shujja, emphasized that the rescued individuals would undergo rehabilitation before their complete reintegration into their respective communities.
While addressing the community of Mpondwe at Mpondwe Muslim Secondary School, Maj. Gen Dick Olum, the Commander of Operation Shujja, said that from their investigations three students were abducted and the force is still pursuing the rebels to rescue them.
The Operation Shujja spokesperson, Maj. Peter Mugisa told this reporter on Monday morning that the two principles also discussed the need for additional manpower from both UPDF and FARDC and enhancing the security of road construction from Kasindi-Beni-Butembo.

In a joint press statement issued by UPDF spokesperson Brig Gen Flavia Byekwas and her Congolese army counter Maj Gen Leon Richard Kasonga Cibangu on Monday, it says the armed group is harboring sinister clandestine plans deliberately intended to sabotage the military actions against ADF and the joint discredited the operation.
