Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC) holds Uganda’s commercial interests on behalf of the Government of Uganda (GoU), participating with up to 40% shares in the refinery Project.

UNOC has paid over 578 million shillings or $155700 as required by the laws and the signed Production Sharing Agreement and award of the Petroleum Exploration License.
From delivering a Final Investment Decision, the commencement of field development, and the arrival of the rigs, there is hope that Tilenga and Kingfisher Developments in the Albertine will deliver first oil in 2025.
