Drawing inspiration from Pope Francis's teachings on "Spiritual Worldliness," a warning against reducing spirituality to superficial appearances while disassociating it from the Gospel, Bishop Jjumba elucidated the perils of this temptation for priests.
The priests were ordained at Villa Maria proto-Cathedral in Kalungu district, by Masaka Diocesan Bishop Serverus Jjumba while he celebrated mass on Saturday. He also elevated 21 seminarians to the level of Deacons in the Catholic Church.
