By the end of 2023, the number of learners registered on the EMIS portal in 30 UPE schools in Luwero and 26 schools in Nakaseke district was fewer than the figures reported to the Ministry of Education and Sports.
The process, which is conducted in both public and private institutions is intended to, among other things, ease the tracking of the learners’ performance and improve data management in the education sector.
The CSOs want the district to produce accountability of 234,969,000 Shillings collected by the schools during registration at the beginning of third term in 2022.
