According to Patrick Okot, the Palabek Abera Sub-County Chairperson, only 18.5 kilometers out of the 34.8 kilometers road have been worked on by the contractor since the agreement was signed in 2022.
It follows the adoption of a report presented to the House by John Bosco Ikojo, the Chairperson of the Committee on National Economy which scrutinized the requisition during a plenary sitting chaired by Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa on Wednesday.
