His call came during a high-level cross-border dialogue held on Wednesday in Torit, South Sudan. The event was organized by the Refugees Law Project with support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
According to Peter Oyesigye, the Kitgum District Police Commander, the suspects allegedly waylaid the roaming cattle from Bar lobo village in Potika Sub-county, Lamwo District, loaded them in the truck with the intention of selling them at Amach Livestock Market in Lira District before they were intercepted at Pager River Bridge in Kitgum Municipality.
The suspect, Alex Olweny, a resident of Kaugoli South Village, Potika Sub-county, allegedly stabbed his wife Jacklin Amony to death after a heated argument over money.
