Democratic Party legal advisor Fred Mukasa Mbidde and Chris Opoka, a veteran Uganda People’s Congress politician, are among the nine members elected to represent Uganda at the East African Legislative Assembly. Also on the list is Susan Nakawuki, a youthful lawyer and former Member of Parliament for Busiro East in the 8th parliament who contested as an Independent.
