Chief Registrar Sarah Langa announced Justice Kasule’s retirement in a memo to the judges of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the High Court, registrars and magistrates. She said that Justice Kasule successfully completed his contract as justice of Appeal and the Constitutional Court on July 22 this year.
Among those transferred is Fred Waninda, the acting Registrar of the Commercial Court in Charge of Planning, Performance and Development who was recently accused of assaulting a journalist attached to Smart 24 Television.
On Wednesday last week, Waninda was caught on camera slapping a journalist working with Smart 24 television recording him after appearing before the Commercial Court to respond to against charges of landing grabbing.
