Speaking at the International Labour Day celebrations in Pallisa district today, Museveni warned that people should eat food relief carefully because they may be eating a school or a road. Museveni also warned that food aid may dissuade people from working who will instead wait for food aid from government.

President Yoweri Museveni has cautioned politicians on healthy living as he joined mourners for a final send off of Dr Stephen Mallinga, the Minister for Relief and Disaster Preparedness who died last week. While addressing mourners at Mallingaâ€™s burial in Pallisa on Thursday, Museveni said that the country has lost young leaders like Eriya Kategaya and Mallinga due to bad eating habits and poor life style.
The deceasedâ€™s daughter in law, Sister Okello, the senior nursing officer at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, told Uganda Radio Network that Dr. Malinga had just finished eating supper at home in Butebo when he collapsed and died.
