UNICEF estimates that nearly 70 million more children under five will die from mostly preventable causes by 2030 if action is not taken. Another 119 million children will still be chronically malnourished and half a billion people will still be defecating in the open, posing serious risks to children\'s health.
According to data published by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Institute for Statistics, Two million of these are additional posts, with sub-Saharan Africa alone accounting for more than half.
