Lukwago who was presiding over the KCC FC media breakfast at Golf Course Hotel this morning said they have invested heavily and wisely in the team and success in knocking at the door. The jovial Lukwago said that by winning the league title and the Bell Kakungulu Cup, KCC FC would make him a football‘Ssalongo’, literally meaning a father of twins.
In the meeting majority of the clubs reportedly voted to have new management of the League under a new board which will be appointed on August 17. The meeting was called by the joint Committee of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and Uganda Super League Limited (USLL) put in place last month to handle matters pertaining to the League.
Gulu United football club will be looking forward to their first win in the league when they face visiting army side, Simba FC at Pece stadium in Gulu town this afternoon.
