A voter in Kyotera Constituency, Rakai district wants court to remove State Minister for Microfinance Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo from Parliament over alleged lack of requisite academic qualifications.
Masaka High Court Registrar Baker Rwatooro says that five of the petitions are based on acts of voter bribery, intimidation and violence that marred the polls, while five others are questioning the validity of academic papers submitted by candidates prior to nomination.
