Col. Nambafu handed a 20-year jail sentence to Jacob Oyet Ojera a soldier attached to Lugore military Detach in Palaro Sub-county, Gulu district for shooting to death his wife on October 30, 2023.

Anyuru told URN on Wednesday morning that the court presided over by Col. George Nambafu who chaired the court granted Captain Olinga a non cash bail of thirty million shillings and instructed him to report to court on the 25th of January 2021.

Prosecution led by Major Samuel Maserejje told court that on August 16th, 2019, Buchanan a resident of Buziga in Makindye division was found in possession of a pistol of 18 rounds of live ammunition, which are ordinarily a monopoly of Defense Forces.
