According to Isanga, the church can only have the moral conviction to resist homosexuality when financially dependent on in-house solutions like involvement in agriculture and other small-scale industries to boost their incomes for development, which over time can help them to resist conditional funding aimed at promoting immorality.
In a sermon delivered by Reverend Daniel Byamureba at St. Luke, Kazo Church of Uganda, Namirembe Diocese, Christians have also been urged to uphold their responsibilities amidst several temptations. Rev.Acur 57, was consecrated the first Bishop of new West Lango Diocese on Sunday at Aduku St Peters Church of Uganda during a ceremony that was presided over by the president Yoweri Museveni.
He was appointed by the house of Bishops on July 17th 2014 at Lweza training and conference center as the first Bishop of West Lango Diocese.
