Achola pleaded not guilty and applied for bail through the Centenary Bank lawyer, Joshua Sserugendo. She presented her supervisor, Louis Ngabirano and her workmate, Rehema Kakembo at Centenary Bank as her sureties for bail application.
The State prosecution lead by Martin Nabasa told court that between December 2020 and January 2021 this year, Nasur and others at large stole 29 million shillings from the party account in Centenary Bank, Wobulenzi branch.
Statistics at the Albertine police Criminal Investigations Department indicate that more than 200 cows were stolen from the region between December 2019, and February 2020. These animals were being stolen and transported to Kampala, Gulu, Masaka, Mbale, Arua, Soroti and South Sudan among other places.

According to Esiko, after stealing the cows, the suspects loaded the animals on a Fuso truck registration number UAS 445C destined for Kyankwanzi district. Esiko says Hoima police immediately notified their counterparts in Kyankwanzi who mounted a road block and intercepted the truck.
