The MPs noticed a number of anomalies in the financial statement while interrogating the team on the poor absorption of funds by the hospital. In his report, the Auditor General noted that the hospital received Shillings 8.4billion in the financial year and only spent Shillings 8bn leaving a balance of 399M.
