Denis Muyunga, the area LCIII Chairman, says that the residents first developed symptoms such as nausea, severe fever, vomiting, chest pain, a sore throat, abdominal pain, swelling on the arms, and diarrhoea. A number of them died within two or three days after presenting the symptoms.
The 1,443km East African Crude Oil Pipeline will transport Uganda’s crude oil from Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tanga port in Tanzania. It is envisaged to be the longest electrically heated pipeline in the world, crossing through 10 districts in Uganda, a distance of 296 kilometres and 25 districts in Tanzania, covering eight regions.
Jane Kyomugisha, an elder sister to Kasumba narrates that the victim was picked by unknown people who invaded his home in Kyakonda ward, Nabisasa Sub county in Kyotera district on the eve of the election for local council three leaders.
The land, covering 247 square miles is located in the areas of Kanamiti, Matengeeto, Mutukula, Lukulavu, Lukoma, and Kabale villages in Kakuuto sub-county, and in Kabira, Kasasa, Kyebe sub-counties and Mutukula Town Council in Kyotera district.

Although they are said to be students, details about their schools are still unknown. It is said that the two were dating for some time when they decided to have quality time together away from their known residence.
Mariam Nalugaajju, the Project Administrator, says that at least more than 100 girls and 50 women in Kalisizo Town Council, Kalisizo Rural, Lwankoni sub-county and Kyotera Town Council have undergone training to produce the pads.
The residents argue that officials from New Plan, the company hired to carry out the valuation exercise and Total Uganda presented the forms of 2018/2019 which had been rejected by the PAPs and district.
