Uganda Human Rights Commission has awarded Mutwalib Mulempi, a resident of Madibira village in Kaliro shillings 4 million in damages after he was shot cops. The ruling was made today by Commissioner Mariam Wangadya at Uganda Human Rights Commissions Office in Jinja.
The probe stems from a petition by KHK Rayan, a local Shoe company investor in Jinja, complaining about the NRM vice-chairman, Grace Makisho, who he said was frustrating his efforts to establish his industry.
