At least 2124 people spent their weekend in various police cells after they were arrested for flouting curfew time. Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, said joint security operations arrested people on roads driving or riding past curfew time while many others were picked from bars.
ASP Twesigye reportedly walked back to the police station after quarreling with the youths, and returned to the scene in the company of three other police personnel.
Twesigye is then reported to have fired two rounds of live ammunitions in the air before before turning the gun on young Bakooye and shooting him in the chest.
