ASP Twine’s disappearance had caused panic among the police officers given to the fact that he was reportedly handed over to SFC by IGP Byakagaba and his deputy James Ochaya. Politicians such as Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine had demanded security agencies to tell the nations where he was being kept.

The home of Charles Twine, the former CID Spokesperson, has been searched by security personnel.
Twine went missing on Wednesday last week after he was summoned by the Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba.
Although reports
have continuously shown that Twine was handed over to Special Forces
Command (SFC) soon after meeting IGP Byakagaba, security forces have been
denying Twine's whereabouts.
Police Spokesperson, Kituuma Rusoke and SFC
Spokesperson Maj Jimmy Omara all denied knowing ASP Twine’s
whereabouts.
However, on Tuesday, Twine appeared at his home in Kasaganti accompanied by
Counter-Terrorism, CID plain-clothed detectives and other security agencies.
Twine’s wife, Kate Kabagenyi, said the team searching
their home left at around 6 pm, but they did not take anything from the house.
She
said he was able to see her husband, but he was not given time to speak to her.
“I just greeted and hugged him. I could not speak to
him to know what they are accusing him of and where he has been kept for all this time.
I was told they are taking him to Kira Division Police,” Kabagenyi said.
Twine’s disappearance had caused panic among the

Twine has already written to the police seeking to be retired
from the police as he reportedly aims to contest in the parliamentary elections. To
date, the offences he committed have not been revealed.
