Alfred Okuonzi the LCV Chairperson of Arua district urged political players to avoid politics of disunity, hate, lies and the discretion of others if peace is to prevail ahead of the general elections.
Arua District LC 5 Chairman Alfred Okuonzi joined by the Woman MP Obiale, Judith Bako the Assistant RCC Arua City and RDC Arua Swaibu Toko during the belated NRM anniversry in Arua.
NRM leaders and supporters in Arua district have expressed concern about the increased bickering in the party.
The supporters who were commemorating their belated 39th
NRM anniversary at Eruba primary school also demanded that the party
leadership works to ensure the sustainability of the relative peace the country has
achieved over the years.

said the NRM party allows those against their position to opt out of the party at
any time of their choice.

Commissioner Arua cautioned against infighting and bickering among NRM
supporters if the party is to achieve its core principles for which it was
formed.
Toko also urges the NRM members to embrace the spirit
of patriotism which he says will bring love and create more peace and stability
in the Country.

Member of Parliament Arua district commended the NRM government for uplifting Women
through affirmative action adding that more needs to be done to empower the
rural Woman.
