Unidentified assailants
have hacked two family members to death and injured another critically in
Kamuli district.
The deceased are 66-year-old
Ndilugendawa Kisule and his wife, Frances Namisini, both residents of Bukalu
zone in Nabuwigulu Sub County in Kamuli district.
Their teenage daughter, Glory Namugolo survived with serious
injuries is admitted at Kamuli General Hospital. The lifeless bodies of the deceased were
retrieved from their home this morning with deep cuts on the head, neck and
private parts.

Police detectives visited the scene and recorded statements
from the neighbors who were instructed not to reveal any information to the
press. A detective told URN on condition of anonymity that they
suspect foul play by family members.
“This family has been prone to land wrangles for a long time.
Our primary leads are focusing on it as one of the triggers to this merciless
murder,” he says.
Julius Katoobe, the village vice chairperson, says they are
shocked about the brutal murder are waiting for answers from police.

residents to avail police with information that will help police to apprehend
the suspects.

Police have taken the
deceased’s body to Kamuli General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
