A body of a woman has been discovered in Mbiko, Njeru Municipality.
The body of Hadijah Nantongo, a resident of Nava road village, was on Friday recovered by residents dumped in a maize garden.
According to residents, the body had blood stains on the legs and private parts.
Margaret Namiggade, a resident of Nava road says they are living in fear following the death of Nantongo.

Harriet Namakula, another resident says that Nantongo was a vendor dealing in second-hand clothes. She wants police to hunt for the people behind Nantongo's murder.

Christopher Ruhunde, the District Police Commander Njeru urged the residents to avail information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
