Buganda Values Partnerships that Advance Subjects Welfare– Mayiga

Mayiga says that the administration of the Kingdom has been advocating for such partnerships that strive to improve the wellbeing of the people, over the years. He also rallied the young People in the Kingdom to take advantage of the Kingdom initiatives on Agriculture, health and safety to support their advancement.

Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga says the Kingdom is resolute to improve the livelihoods of its subjects through the development of Strategic cooperation and relationships.

Mayiga was speaking in Katabi Town Council after presenting a donation of a house, constructed for Abubaker Ssentongo, one of the loyal kingdom subjects who was injured two years ago and remained unable to work for his family. The house, valued at 20 million Shillings, was built in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity.

Ssentongo was identified by the Busiro County Chief Charles Kiberu Kisiriiza after struggling with a broken backbone at his home in Bulega, along Garuga road. He had become incapacitated and could no longer support his wife and seven children.

The town council chairperson for Katabi, Ronald Kalema thanked the kingdom for the assistance that has led to achievement for Abubaker Ssentongo. 

The Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, will conclude his tour of Busiro County on Wednesday afternoon after addressing guests and revellers in Busiro County at Nkumba University playground at the helm of his 26th coronation anniversary celebrations. 

He was crowned King on July 31, 1993, at Naggalabi Buddo after 27 years of the abolition on Monarchs in Uganda.
