78 senior four students of Bukalasi Secondary School in Bukalasi Sub County, Bududa district have been relocated to Bulucheke Secondary school ahead of tomorrow's UCE exams.
Bukalasi Sub County was severely affected by the mudslides on Thursday.
Christopher Katumba, the head teacher Bukalasi secondary school says they have been forced to relocate only S.4 students to Bulucheke Secondary School, which is four miles away. He explains that all the four bridges which lead to the school were washed away by the mudslides, hampering transport in the area.
He also says that parents have been asked to provide their children with food and other basic needs because they will be away for the entire examination period.
Wilson Watira, the Bududa LCV District Chairperson, says that they have informed the Uganda National Examinations Board about the relocation of the candidates.
