BUL FC to Play Vipers SC in Uganda Cup Finals

BUL FC will play Vipers SC in this year’s Uganda cup finals. On Thursday, BULFC defeated Express FC 1:0 at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.

BUL FC’s team captain, Owen Mukisa scored his club’s winning goal during the first round of the game.  BUL FC which is slated to have their debut in the Uganda Cup finals will play Vipers SC that on Tuesday. Vipers defeated Police FC with a 2-0 to qualify for the finals.

Mukisa says that they had a clear game plan of earning an early goal and defend their win throughout the last minutes of the game.

“Our game plan was clear to all of us and each of the individual players executed their roles well, which largely earned us today’s win,” he says.

Alex Isabirye, the head coach of BUL FC says that he commands a young team with committed players ready to compete and execute their roles right on the pitch.

Isabirye says that the players have received enough orientation, confidence and all the necessary football drills, which can enable them to effectively compete with any football club in the country’s top league.

Express’ head coach, Wasswa Bbosa says that his side lost the game due to the fatigue being experienced players who mid this month, featured in a continental challenge.
