Most individuals in the
Albertine region own businesses but are ignorant on how they can get registered
on the NSD. They fault the government for not doing enough to sensitize them
about the database.
Godwin Angaliya, a supplier of local
construction materials in Buliisa district says most of the registration is
done online yet there have not been any attempts to help most of them get
registered on the database.
He says that it could be a move by the
government and the oil companies to abandon the services of the local companies
in the region.
