Business at Bunagana Border Post Remains Low

Business at Bunagana border post has remained low for fear of insecurity.
Yesterday, the border post remained deserted after Students of Kijombe secondary school in Rutshuru in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, border clashed with Hutu students from Rwanda prompting the intervention of General Nkunda's forces.
Despite the safe atmosphere on the Ugandan side, the Bunagana border post remained deserted and traffic moved to Ishasha border post.
The Immigration spokesperson, Eunice Kisembo, says immigration staffs have maintained their presence at Bunagana border post despite the low traffic.
