On Saturday, Nakato drove to Mbalala trading center along the Jinja-Kampala Highway after receiving a tip off that Magada had been cited in the area. According to Nakato, she found Magada alive and well.
Police in Buyende district are holding Julius Magada, the campaign manager of Mary Annette Nakato, the former Buyende woman member of parliament for faking his own kidnap.

Magada was picked up on Saturday from Mbalala in Mukono district following his disappearance on March 10th. He sent text messages to people claiming he had been kidnapped by unknown people but his phone went off.

Magada's relatives piled pressure on Nakatto to trace for his whereabouts since he had worked with him during the campaigns. On Saturday, Nakato drove to Mbalala trading center along the Jinja-Kampala Highway after receiving a tip off that Magada had been cited in the area.

According to Nakato, she found Magada alive and well.  Magada was picked up to explain his disappearance and alleged disappearance. Michael Kasadha, Busoga north police spokesperson, says they want Magada to explain circumstances leading to his disappearance, adding that they want him to explain why he claimed to have been kidnapped.

Magada, who looked in good health, had refused to disclose information leading to his disappearance by the time our reporter filed this story.
