Creamland High School Sends 24 Candidates Home Over indiscipline

Creamland High school in Kabale district has suspended 24 senior four candidates for alleged indiscipline. The students were suspended for their involvement in the strike at the school over the weekend.

The students rampaged on Saturday 18th October and beat up the school patron who attempted to wake them up for morning preps. They also stormed the patron's resident and vandalized his household property.

The confusion continued until on Monday attracting the attention of police to calm down the situation. As a result, the school administration decided to suspend 24 senior four candidates who are currently writing their final examinations.

The candidates will be escorted to the school by their parents to complete their remaining papers. Christian Agaba, the director Creamland High school says the affected candidates are too wild and couldn't be tolerated.

Creamland High school becomes the fifth school in Kigzi region to experience a student's strike since the beginning of the UCE exams. Others are Bishop Kivengere girls Muyebe, Kigezi High school in Kabale District and  Kyamakanda secondary school in Rukungiri district where the school has been partially closed.

Other students were sent home save for the candidates following a violent strike on Friday last week.
