Uganda’s National Senior women’s team, the Crested
Cranes has today shifted their residential camp from Cranes Paradise Hotel in
Kisaasi to the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.
The team is preparing ahead of the regional CECAFA Senior Women's Championship 2022.

Crested
Cranes will kick off its campaign with a tie against Rwanda on June 1st,
2022 before playing Djibouti in-game day two.
Now, after spending a couple of weeks training in Kampala, the team has shifted camp to Njeru where the tournament will
be hosted, purposely to familiarize itself with the pitch before the final
games.

Head coach, George William Lutalo said they had a successful camp in Kisaasi which
helped them to assess the fitness levels of the players.

Uganda and Burundi will use the regional competition to get ready for the TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations that will be played in July in Morocco.
