The organisers of the
International University of East Africa Eastern Motor Club-EMC rally
championship 2020 have agreed to relocate it from Kakindu stadium to Hared gym
Nicholas Isabirye, the
rally spokesperson says Kakindu stadium is small and lack space to cater for
other heavy traffic sporting activities.
He explains that Safety
Officers from the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda-FMU inspected the
facility together with Jinja district officials and resolved to change the
venue to avoid accidents that may results from the event.

Officer the new venue has been demarcated to provide no go zones for the
spectators during the sport.
The event has attracted 48 drivers from
different parts of the country.
They include among
others Rajiv Ruparellia, Arthur Blick, Ponsiano Rwakataka, Ronald Ssebuguzi,
Duncan Mubiru, Hassan Alui, and Muzamir Twoya Mwami.
This year’s rally,
which is scheduled for Saturday morning will be flagged off by the kyabazinga
of Busoga Kingdom, William Gabula Nadiope.
