Police swung into action after receiving Intelligence information from the Crime Intelligence department that there were people printing t-shirts, caps and posters containing inciting messages.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, says they recovered several materials from the shops of the suspects during the operation.

"We have the suspects in our custody and we also found t-shirts, posters, calendar and other things which were meant to incite the public," Owoyesigyire told URN.

Today's operation was the third in the last one week. Similar operations were carried out on Saturday at Zai Plaza but no suspect was picked up.

The t-shirts  and caps containing the 'Free Bobi Wine' and 'People Power” messages have been on high demand since the arrest of Bobi Wine and 33 other suspects during the Arua Municipality by elections.
