“I am a member of the
NRM party but urge my supporters to vote for Basalirwa. This will bring about
development in Bugiri municipality,” Lyavala told his supporters.
He later joined the Kyadondo East legislator, Robert Kyagulanyi
alias Bobi Wine and other opposition legislators to canvass votes for
Basalirwa. His presence at Basalirwa’s final campaign rally at
market square in Bugiri town excited voters.
