Hoima police
are holding four suspects in connection to murder.
The suspects, whose
identities have been withheld by police, were picked up in connection to
the brutal murder of a one Sama, a resident of Kiryatete East, a suburb of Hoima
Oil City on January 1, 2021.
Sama was killed in Kiganda cell in Northern ward in
Hoima West division. Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson, says the assailants hacked
the deceased severally and inflicted on him deep cuts on his head, face and
neck.
They dumped his lifeless body in an incomplete house in Kiganda cell in
Hoima West division. Hakiza says police have been hunting for the assailants
and has since arrested four people.
