He says, that once investigations are through, the suspected robbers who are currently being detained at Kakumiro Central Police Station will be arraigned before the court to be charged accordingly. Hakiza has appealed to members of the public to provide vital information that could lead to the arrest and detention of more suspects who are currently at large.

Meanwhile, four suspects are in custody at the Kagadi central police station over the alleged murder of a businessman. The suspects whose particulars have been concealed by the police for fear of jeopardizing investigations are believed to have connived to kill Christopher Nuwagaba 23, a  resident of Kinaaba village in the Rugashali sub-county.

Information obtained by Uganda Radio Network-URN indicates that the suspects reportedly raided the deceased’s home, and beat him to death before they dumped his body in his compound on Monday night.

Kinaaba Village Chairperson Erias Baguma explains that area residents found the deceased's body in his compound on Tuesday morning and in the aftermath, four suspects were arrested with the help of the Police sniffer dog.
