This follows the President’s directive that sports activities can continue but without fans.

Betway Power had previously registered two COVID19 positive cases, however, in response, the federation suspended their next game against Namuwongo Blazers that was supposed to be played on May 23. Bet power was tasked to re-test players and provide negative tests before returning to play.

The National Basketball league resumed in April after a year of inactivity, they had opted to use UCU and KIU courts in a bid to curb the spread of the Virus. They believe that with schools closed it will be easy to regulate the spectators. City Oilers are currently the leaders of the table with 12 points with only six games played in the regular season.

The 2020 Basketball league season plan for both National Basketball League (NBL), Division one and Development league was called off because of the lockdown.
