The case against Lillian Rukundo, a student of Uganda Christian University and Ashiraf Kato alias Arshburg, the Ghetto TV founder are accused of broadcasting pornography has flopped due to the absence of the Prosecutor.

The trial of the duo was expected to start this morning before the Buganda Road Chief magistrate, Mary Babirye. However, the matter couldn't proceed because the State Prosecutor, Emily Ninsiima was no show.

This prompted the magistrate to adjourn the matter to September 28th, 2018 in the presence of the accused persons and Charles Dalton Oponya, the counsel of the Anti-pornographic Committee.

Babirye noted that hearing of the matter will have to start on the said date. Prosecution alleges that on May 24th and 25th, 2018; the suspects broadcast nude pictures of Rukundo with intentions of persuading their viewers contrary to Section 13(1) and (2) of the Anti-Pornographic Act, 2014.

The suspects deny the charges leveled against them.
