Incumbent Bundibugyo Chairman Wins NRM Primaries

Mutegeki defeated his closest rival Robert Tibamwenda with 53, 000 votes against Tibamwenda's38,789 according to results released on Friday night at the RDC's premises in Bundibugyo town.

The Bundibugyo incumbent LCV Ronald Mutegeki has won the Bundibugyo NRM LCV primaries.

Mutegeki defeated his closest rival Robert Tibamwenda with 53, 000 votes against Tibamwenda's38,789 according to results released on Friday night at the RDC's premises in Bundibugyo town. 

The other candidates Ahebwa Gideon polled 2,753 votes while Rev. Chris Babiha got 1263 votes.  Aguma Kifunga Robert District NRM EC registrar announced the results at midnight.

Mutegeki hailed the results as a vote of confidence in his leadership.

The election which attracted low turn up was largely peaceful in the district. 

In neighbouring Ntororo District, Kasoro Williams won the party flag with 12,843 to defeat his only rival Tusiime Yahaya Yakubu who polled 7,926
