Inspector Of Schools in Bundibugyo Arrested for Defilment

Reverend David Kibwona, the Bundibugyo Inspector of Schools has been arrested on accusations of defilement.

David Kibwona, the inspector in charge of Ntoroko Sub County was found red handed on Sunday at 10:00pm defiling the 14-year-old girl in his house found in Rwagara trading centre.

Charles Ariko, the Bundibugyo district Police chief says that they acted on a tip off by residents of Rwagara trading centre who saw Kibwona carrying the minor on his motorcycle, heading to his residence.

The defilement victim is a student of Hakitengya Community Polytechnic in Bundibugyo town council.

Ariko says that Kibwona, who is also a preacher at All Saints Church in Bundibugyo town, took advantage of the girl being an orphan and has been luring her into sex with money, food and clothes.

Rev. Geoffrey Kyomuhendo the executive director of Child Concern Initiative a local organization that is paying school fees for the defiled girl alleges that Kibwona has been defiling the girl on several occasions.

Kyomuhendo also alleges that Kibwona impregnated the victim last year and forced her to abort. He also says that they have requested the Bishop of Rwenzori Diocese, Patrick Kyaligonza to excommunicate Kibwona.
