The Justice Forum of Uganda, JEEMA, said the only way the National Resistance Movement party can be defeated is through a coalition.
The JEEMA Publicity Secretary, Hussein Kyanjo, said that the party members are pushing for one credible opposition candidate who can successfully stand against President Yoweri Museveni in next year's presidential elections.
Kyanjo admitted that to date the G6, a coalition of opposition parties in Uganda, has failed to identify a good candidate, but said there is hope for a consensus on the matter. He disclosed that the possibility fielding a single opposition candidate will be among the top issues on the agenda of the JEEMA National Delegates' Conference on December 9.
The JEEMA delegates' conference will take place at Bwerenga near Kisubi, along Entebbe road.
