In the first count, it is alleged that, in November 2018,
Kitimbo forged minutes indicating that, Jinja municipal councillors had
approved the allocation of plot 24B along Kyabazinga way to Jay Mangalal Patel.
It is also alleged that between December 2018 and July 2019, Kitimba
allegedly uttered false documents indicating that, Mangalal was the rightful
owner of the land located on plot 24B.
Kitimbo is further accused of uttering a false document
purportedly authored by the then, land board chairperson, Innocent Ngobi which
was directing the ministry of lands zonal office to issue a freehold title in
favour of Mangalal.
The Jinja Grade One Magistrate, Ronald Nsobya released Kitimbo on
a cash bail of 200,000 Shillings, whereas his two sureties who included; Hellen
Nangobi and Safani Walube were each tasked to pay a non-cash bond of three
