One person was killed this morning and three others injured critically in a motor accident at Rwakihirwa along the Kabale-Katuna road.
The accident occurred after a Kampala bound trailer from Rwanda registration number RAA 910N/RL0465 collided with another vehicle RAA295/RL0217 that was heading to Kigali killing one person on board and injuring three others.
The injured have been identified as Sanzabera Anakirita, the trailer driver, his turn man and Emmanuel Karangwa, the driver of the second accident vehicle. The trio is admitted at Kabale Regional Referral hospital.

He says traffic police are still conducting more investigations into the matter to establish the cause of the accident, adding that the injured are in critical condition and can\'t record statements.
Maate says that body of the deceased travelers has been handed over to Kabale Regional Referral hospital for postmortem.
